A girl I know was visiting her friend’s house, along with two boys. The girl thought it would be funny to flash the group. What she didn’t know was that one of the boys was secretly videotaping her.
Later that night, he posted the video on the internet. Within a week, the video was spread all over southern Maine. People even made posters of her, using shots of the video. Her parents even found out.
You can’t always trust your friends. Be careful.

yes, i have been cyber bullied, many times actually… Somebody from my school has hacked into my Myspace Profile, and has been pretending to be me, and talking to my friends, and has been trying to ruin my school life for more than a month now. They know who i talk to, they are trying to break up me and my girlfriend, and idk wat they have against me, but it has to be somebody close to me. idk who it is, and i don’t really care, because whoever is doing that to me is a nobody. i’m not trying to be mean, but they need to give up, and leave me alone.

I heard about how a 13 year old was bullied b what she thought was a 16 year old boy but was really her friends mother the friends mother told the girl to kill herself and that she was useless. How awful is that Now that mother has to explain to her daughter that she killed her best friend.

I heard about a 6th grade boy whose sister asked some of her friends to send him nasty text messages. I would not like to have a sister like that. And her friends sounded as mean as she was. This boy was very upset about the messages and felt angry. Plus he felt bad about himself.

this is very mean to the people getting picked on and if they are getting picked on then they should just ignore them or tell a adult?

I saw a movie, ODD GIRL OUT, and it is about this girl who was popular, and then gets un-popular. She chops off all of her hair and everyone makes fun of her. Everyone at her school are mean to her and send her hurtful emails. They create mean websites and send links of them to her. Everyone hates her. Even her friends mom is mean to her. I think it has a nice ending. Maybe. I forget.

This girl I know kept getting mean comments on her myspace page from this other girl. They really hurt her feelings, because they got personal and really targeted making her feel bad about herself.

One of my friends got in a fight with another close friend. One of the girls decided it would be funny to have a friend over and make up an AIM screename and talk to the other girl. So the two friends made up a screename and pretended to be the girl they were in a fight withs boyfriend. The two girls who were pretending to be the other girls boy friend told the girl that “he” thought they were better off friends. The next day at school the girls boyfriend came up to her and the girl just walked away. That ended their relationship. Then a couple weeks later all the girls became friends again and the two girls felt really bad about making a screename but decided to keep the whole thing a secret after all which was wrong.

when i’m in a fight with someone we barely ever
talk to each other about it in person, we automatically
take it out on each other online, whether it be on
IM, facebook, or myspace. Usually, one person or another
says something that they wouldn’t say to someone’s
face, and it really effects the fight that we’re in because
then both friends start getting more and more mad
and say things they normally wouldn’t. On most internet
technology, you can forward or copy and paste things
and send it to other people, which also is bad because
if you’re in a fight with someone and they send what
you say or you send what they say to someone else, it could
get worse.

This summer someone in our school was cyber bullied over I.M. It was really confusing how I got into it so I am not going to tell the whole story. But it was towards the end of the summer and I was going to camping on an island with some friends. And I was not sure if this girl new someone was pretending to be her and I didn’t know if it was her or not. I wasn’t sure if it was her or not because the person made a screen name that sounded very convincing and she kept pretending to be other people. But, yeah it was really confusing and it was hard to talk to this girl then.

Two of my friends got in a fight. One of got one of their other friends to make up an AIM Screen name and pretended to be the person that the friends liked. The girl that he liked kind of liked him but he didn’t know that. They two guys said that the “girl” hated him. He got really sad. and yea….

My cousin was on her Myspace and a girl who was not a friend at the time, sent her a message about how mean she was. The girl put stuff up on her Myspace and said bad stuff about her at school too. For about a month my cousin didn’t want to go to school because she felt uncomfortable.

There was a girl that had a really good friend . One day they got in a fight and the friend wrote comments on myspace about the girl’s deepest secrets and said mean things about her. At school everyone knew about it and the friend was just laughing and making fun. The girl knew her friend did that and and they never spoke again.

I have been bullied online. Usually when my friends tell me something mean of hurtful to me it is usually online. Things like this happen online more because girls are usually to scared to say hurtful words to someones face.
One time one girl made multiple fake screen names on AIM. This girl decided to say rude stuff and made up a rumor up that I liked a boy, but I didn’t. This girl decided to be mean to other girls and everyone thought it was me. One of my friends thankfully called me and told me what was going on.

For me, the most painful thing online is fights. It’s easier to target other people and that’s what happens towards me a lot.
You can’t tell what tone of voice people are using when you’re online. It’s easier to talk to someone indirectly and not to their face.

there are so many stories that are of people getting bullied online and stuff yet people still go meet predators and what not when they know they shouldn’t meet someone. they don’t realize what’s happening when they do it because the people try to make it very believable to be someone that can help them.
I agree with jonas obsessed
